Our new Varian Linear Accelerator provides state-of-the-art radiation therapy cancer treatments, offering three-dimensional Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT).

IMRT provides for the sophisticated delivery of radiation more precisely into a designated target volume. IMRT allows for a higher radiation dose to be delivered to the tumor volume while maintaining a lower dose to the surrounding normal structures. This leading-edge technology translates into reduced side effects for our patients.

The new linear accelerator also has Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), which allows us to localize, visualize and verify treatment fields on a daily basis, improving the quality and accuracy of treatment.
